The Parker Broncs golf team played their final match of the 2019 season April 29, with a trip to Cerbat Cliffs in Kingman. They faced the Kingman Academy Tigers and the River Valley Dust Devils. Parker wound up in the middle with a team score of 77 over par. Kingman Academy was 35 over par, while River Valley was 120 over par.

Coach Chad McKenzie said this was the windiest day he could recall the team ever playing in. He said the winds were between 25 and 30 mph.

Despite the wind, the Broncs posted some good scores. For the second match in a row, Shaun Welch led the Broncs, shooting a 50 this time. Brayden Page was right behind her, shooting a 51.

For the season, Broncs’ average team score was 72 over par. McKenzie said this was a huge improvement over their average of 118 over par in 2018. He said they have no seniors this year, so the team is looking to have everyone back next year.
