Parker Broncs

Following their loss to the Trivium Prep Crimson Knights Oct. 29, the Parker Broncs will be hosting the Desert Christian Eagles of Tucson in a state tournament play-in match at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Parker High School.

The Eagles are ranked 24th in the Arizona Interscholastic Association power point rankings, while Parker is ranked 9th.

Desert Christian was 10-4 in the 2A South. They were 12-5 against other 2A teams and 13-5 overall.

The Broncs finish the regular season with a record of 5-3 against their 2A West opponents, 6-4 against other 2A teams, and 12-5 overall. Prior to the Oct. 29 match, they were ranked ninth in the state according to the Arizona Interscholastic Association power points standings. Dan Maya said they were likely to either stay at No. 9 or be moved down as a result of the loss to Trivium Prep in their final match of the season Oct. 29.
