Seven players on the Parker Broncs’ soccer team received post-season regional honors for the 2018-19 season. Two made the first all-region team, two made the second all-region team, and three received honorable mention.

The Parker Broncs soccer team closed out their 2018-19 season Jan. 24 at River Valley High School in Mohave Valley. While they did not make the playoffs, they ended the season and a four-game losing streak in spectacular fashion, defeating the River Valley Dust Devils, 11-0.

The Broncs ended the 2018-19 soccer season with a record of 2-3-1 against their 3A Northwest region opponents, which put them in fourth place. They were 4-7-1 overall, and were ranked 33rd in the state.

Here are the players who received recognition from the coaches of the 3A Northwest:

First team:  Aaron Gonzalez, defender and Jesus Saucedo, forward.

Second team:  James Parks, defender and Julio Salcido, midfielder.

Honorable Mention:  Jaden Collier, Wayne Miller and Justin Viloria.

The Arizona Interscholastic Association has also announced the all-conference teams for the 3A conference. No Broncs received statewide recognition.
