Mixed Martial Arts action returns Saturday, Sept. 7 to the BlueWater Resort & Casino near Parker as King of the Cage presents “Reaction Time.” Patrons can expect a full evening of exciting MMA action in the BlueWater’s Showroom.

As of press time, the main event was a championship bout for the KOTC World Welterweight Title. Richie Palamino will be facing the current Junior Welterweight champ, Nick Angeloni, for the title, which is currently vacant.

Some local area fighters will be featured as well. Christopher Tahbo of Parker will be facing Brooks Callaghan of Blythe, Calif. Both fighters had bouts at River Wars, which was held May 20 at the BlueWater. Both won their bouts at that event.

Tahbo defeated Mashante Mailboy of Chinle, Ariz. with a technical knock-out in Round 2. Callaghan defeated Tim Livingston of Lake Havasu City with a TKO in the second round.

Another Blythe fighter, Bryce Callaghan, will be in one of the featured bouts at Reaction Time. He’ll be fighting Roberto Hernandez. At River Wars in May, Callaghan lost his match with Parker’s Ryan Shatto by a TKO in the first round.

The doors open at 7 p.m. on Sept. 7 for Reaction Time. The fights start at 8 p.m. Tickets are $60 for ringside seats, $50 for table seats, and $40 for general admission. Tickets are available at the BlueWater Gift Shop or by going online to www.bluewaterfun.com.
