The Colorado River Indian Tribes Special Diabetes Project and Recreation Program has two events scheduled for Saturday, March 11:  a Mothers’ Day Celebration Walk and a co-ed volleyball tournament.

The walk will start from the SDP-Recreation Building at 13368 First Avenue. Registration starts at 6:30 a.m., with the walk itself starting at 7 a.m. There will be free event T-shirts. The SDP invites the community to celebrate mothers who are physically active.

The River Rally Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament starts at 10 a.m. May 11 at Irataba Hall. This is a double elimination tournament with 8-person rosters. There will be awards for first, second and third place. There will also be t-shirts and medals.

The entry deadline is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8. The fee is $100 per team, in cashier’s checks or money orders only. They should be made payable to the Colorado River Indian Tribes.
