Peaches, peaches and more peaches to all the many individuals who lost their lives in America’s Armed Forces. We are where we are today and where we will be in the future because of them. That’s why we honor them on Memorial Day. Let’s honor them the year round by being the best people and the best Americans that we can be.
Pits to those who see Memorial Day as just another holiday. Consider the purpose of the day. Have fun, but take the time to reflect and think of where our nation is because we had people who lost their lives because they thought this country was worth fighting for.
Peaches to the Town of Parker and Sunland Asphalt for their work on rebuilding some of our streets. The area about Bronco and Arrowhead Avenues needed this work badly.
Peaches to all high school graduates. To paraphrase Winston Churchill, you haven’t reached the end, or the beginning of the end. You have reached the end of the beginning.
Peaches to the Town of Parker’s new Magistrate Court building. I hope you’ll understand if I say I hope it doesn’t see a lot of use.
Pits to former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. He claimed the coronavirus was a hoax to divert attention from the 2020 election. He also said former President Donald Trump should declare martial law and have the military redo the election. I’m wondering how this certifiable nut case became a Lt. General in the U.S. Army.
Pits to the Arizona Senate for continuing the audit of the votes in Maricopa County. This is getting more and more embarrassing almost by the day. Even some Senate Republicans have said this is embarrassing. All we’re really learning is the auditors have no idea what they’re doing.
