Pits to the Town Council for not doing something about helping the Senior Center. There has to be a reason the paid help are all quitting now. The seniors are really suffering and some of them voted for you. One of you could at least find out why. If not you, then the supervisors. A lot of seniors are suffering.

Peaches to the Parker Regional Chamber of Commerce & Tourism for the Tube Float. It takes a lot of work to put something like that together, and, somehow, they always pull it off.
Peaches to Blasian Secured Executive Transport for running the shuttle busses for the Tube Float. They got it down to a science.
Peaches to all the Tube Float volunteers and sponsors. The event wouldn’t have been possible without you. A fine job all around.
Peaches to all the law enforcement and emergency agencies that assisted with the Tube Float. They made sure everything was done safely, and were there in case anything happened.
Peaches to the staff at La Paz County Park and Buckskin Mountain State Park for their support on the Tube Float. We can’t forget about them. They were essential to making it work.
Peaches to the Kofa Laundromat for their new concrete parking lot. Do you suppose we could get the Parker Post Office to do something about their parking lot?
Peaches to the Phoenix Suns. They’re the “Cinderella” story of the NBA playoffs. Any time the Suns beat the Los Angeles Lakers, that’s a good thing.
Pits to the Arizona Diamondbacks. They have the worst record in baseball this season, and they show few signs they will improve. About all they’re good for this year is bad jokes. That foul odor in downtown Phoenix is coming from Chase Field.
Peaches to my friend, the late Jamie Crawford. Despite your hardships and pain, you always faced life with a smile. Your optimism was infectious. If you ask, I’ll bet St. Peter will let you greet everyone when they arrive at the Pearly Gates. You always enjoyed doing that at church. I can’t think of a better person for the job.
