On behalf of the entire McVey family we would like to thank everyone for the prayers and condolences for the loss of Leroy McVey. We wanted to thank a few special people who helped us get through this especially tough time. We would like to thank Father Richard of Sacred Heart Parish, Ruben and Julie Castillo, The Adonis Alamban family choir and Parker Funeral home for making the mass and burial services go so smoothly.
A special thanks to the Parker Elks Lodge, D.L. & Kelly Wilson, the B.P.O. Does for the fantastic luncheon that was provided because Leroy was a past Exalted Ruler. We would like to thank Ray & Ava Alcaida, Richard & Janie Silva, Bob Butterfield, Connie Solper, Rick Buckelew and Gayle Lowe for pit bar-b-queuing the beef and cooking the beans. Thanks also to Karen Bonds for the delicious coleslaw.
A very special thanks to Eleanor and Joe Martinez for all of the beautiful floral center pieces and other arrangements. Thanks to the Town of Parker for flying the flags at half-staff in honor of his time spent as a councilman and past Mayor of the Town of Parker.
In times like this, we are especially grateful for this small community and the outpour of love and support shown. With your help, you made this chapter of the story go so smoothly. Thank you to all the friends and family who took time to come and share their memories and condolences.
