Peaches to the teachers and staff at Parker High. You did it again.
Peaches to our schools for getting through two rough school years. Teachers, staff, students and parents proved quite adaptable to the changing conditions forced by the pandemic. I’d say the students learned a lot more beyond academics these last two years.
Peaches to the Town of Parker and the Parker Town Council for approving a parade for the Parker High graduates. With Tribal coronavirus restrictions limiting attendance at the commencement ceremony, this will give local residents a chance to acknowledge and cheer for the graduates.
Peaches to Arizona Western College President Dr. Daniel Corr for saying the college district doesn’t anticipate a tax rate increase in the coming fiscal year.
Peaches to having an institution of higher learning like AWC in our county.
Pits to Arizona Western College for having the second highest tax rate of any community college district in the state. La Paz County residents have every right to ask if they’re getting their money’s worth.
