Peaches & Pits

Peaches to Deputy Castaneda for saving my daughter’s life while on duty. My family is very grateful for what you have done. Words can’t express how grateful we truly are for your dedication of protecting and saving lives. Thanks to you, my daughter is back to being a happy nine-month-old and to enjoy her first Fourth of July fireworks show.

Peaches to Sharon Hillhouse, library manager for the Centennial Public Library (Wenden) and the Bouse Public Library (Bouse) for the amazing job she is doing for the children in both areas with the Summer Read program. For several hours each Monday she runs a program filled with science and craft activities, reading, guest speakers, hands-on learning activities, plus provides the children with both breakfast and lunch....all at no cost to parents for children to attend!!
