Pits to everyone who participated in the mob that tried to take over the Capitol. You not only broke the law, you embarrassed yourselves and the nation. You have no right to gripe about Antifa or Black Lives Matter.
Peaches to First Lady Melania Trump for managing to stay classy even through all of this.
Peaches to Best in the Desert Racing Association for managing to put together the Parker 425 despite the difficult conditions they’ve had to work through, including agencies that have a tendency to change their minds at the last minute.
Peaches to the Parker Regional Chamber of Commerce & Tourism and all the chambers in the county for holding things together during this pandemic. Your efforts are appreciated.
Peaches to the Arizona Interscholastic Association for the tough decision they had to make. No one is happy the winter sports season was cancelled, although they changed their minds a few days later. They’ve received a lot of criticism, but it’s a lot easier to sit back and criticize a decision than it is to actually have to make that decision.
Peaches to the late Tommy Lasorda. In addition to being a top-notch manager, he was one of the game’s most colorful characters and one of its top ambassadors. He’ll be missed.
Peaches to the Arizona Department of Transportation road crews. No one likes being held up in traffic by road work, but we know you’re working hard to make Arizona’s highways and byways the best they can be. We also know ADOT is not ignoring La Paz County. We can see it when our roads are improved.
Peaches to the La Paz County Health Department. Their response to this pandemic has been magnificent. They’ve also been working on the other things they need to work on as well. Your hard work is appreciated.
