The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions on US 95 near Quartzsite beginning Wednesday, March 25.

Maintenance crews are scheduled to do crack seal application work south of Quartzsite. The work is part of multiple pavement preservation projects on highways across the state.

The following restrictions will occur from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning Wednesday, March 25, and ending on Friday, March 27, then resuming on Monday, March 30, and ending on Thursday, April 2.

  • Alternating lane closures will occur on north- and southbound US 95 between La Posa Long Term Visitor Area (near milepost 95) and Kuehn Street (milepost 104).
  • Flaggers and a pilot car will direct motorists through the work zone.
  • A 16-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
  • The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph.
