October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Colorado River Regional Crisis Services will be marking this month with the annual Autumn Awareness Street Festival from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21 on Joshua Avenue between Arizona Avenue and 14th Street.

Admission is free and there will be vendors from service agencies with helpful information for people concerned about domestic violence. There will also be food vendors and a 50-50 raffle. Live music will be provided by Kevin Jaxon and Midnight Sun. D.J. Fabe will be providing recorded music.

There will be swag bag giveaways and Soroptimist International of Parker will be on hand with their River Diva Bar.
