Phone lines opened Wednesday, Jan. 27 for appointments for the next coronavirus COVID-19 vaccination clinic, which will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3 at Centennial Community Center, which is located in Centennial Park between Wenden and Salome. These are priority 1B vaccinations for people aged 75 and over.

The appointment lines are 928-503-5763 and 928-502-0773. There are only 500 vaccines available for this clinic. The phone lines will stay open until the appointments are all full.

The clinic is being conducted by the La Paz County Health Department.

“We apologize for any busy signals you may get due to very limited staff,” the health department said in a flyer on the event. “Please do not call the health department.”

When you come for your appointment, please wear a mask, bring photo ID, and your insurance card. Insurance is not required to receive the vaccine.

Please note the health department will not call and ask for any personal information, such as insurance and payment information, or social security or driver’s license numbers.

For information on future clinics when they are set, please go online to www.lpchd or the department’s Facebook page.
