The numbers of people in Arizona who have tested positive for the coronavirus continues to grow. As of March 23, the La Paz County Health Department there were 234 confirmed cases in the state, with more than half of them (139) being in Maricopa County. Yuma and Cochise County have both reported their first cases.

The coronavirus has been found in nine of Arizona’s 15 counties. So far, La Paz and Mohave Counties have not had any cases reported. There have been two deaths in the state, both in Maricopa County.

Here are the county-by-county numbers as of March 23:

Maricopa:  139 cases, 2 deaths

Navajo:  25 cases, 0 deaths

Pima:  24 cases, 0 deaths

Coconino:  17 cases, 0 deaths

Pinal:  17 cases, 0 deaths

Apache:  4 cases, 0 deaths

Cochise:  1 case, 0 deaths

Yuma:  1 case, 0 deaths
