The La Paz County Health Department has a first dose coronavirus vaccine clinic set for 1 to 4 p.m., Thursday, March 25 at the Quartzsite Community Center, 295 Chandler Street. In accordance with Gov. Doug Ducey’s announcement last week, the clinic is open to anyone over the age of 18.

The department said this clinic is also for frontline essential workers, beauticians, childcare workers, food and agriculture, grocery stores, food service, manufacturing, finance (banks), transportation, U.S. Postal Service employees and public works employees who handle water and wastewater.

The Quartzsite clinic is by appointment only.

When you come for your appointment, please wear a face mask and bring a photo ID and insurance card. Insurance is not required to receive the vaccination.

The department will have 500 vaccines available for this clinic. Please watch their website and their Facebook page for notifications of future clinics in the county.

The health department wants everyone to know that they will not call and ask for any personal information, such as insurance or payment information, or Social Security or driver’s license numbers.

Call 928-669-1100 to make an appointment. If you get a busy signal, try again later as they have been receiving a lot of calls.
