Sheriff’s Deputies took into custody a Parker man in Big River for possessing illegal drugs while armed with a loaded gun.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, at 2:50 a.m. Pacific Time on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, deputies responded to the intersection of Rio Mesa Drive and Rio Vista Drive in Big River, California for a report of an unresponsive male in a vehicle armed with an assault type rifle.
The suspect, identified by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station as Skylar Martinez, 25, of Parker, Arizona, was contacted and arrested for being in possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm.
Martinez was booked into the Needles jail with bail set at $50,000.
