La Paz Regional Hospital has a new financial officer. Brant Truman comes to Parker from the state of Washington.

Truman has moved with his wife and five children from Washington to Arizona to assume the financial leadership at La Paz Regional Hospital.  He has been the Chief Financial Officer and Operating Officer at Ferry County Public Hospital District No. 1 in Republic, Washington since 2018.  Prior to that, he was a Business Analyst for the Healthcare Resource Group.

Brant graduated from Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and completed a Masters in Health Policy and Administration at Washington State University in Spokane, Washington.  His Masters project was a financial break-even analysis of an urgent care facility and a financial feasibility study on Critical Access Hospital participation in Accountable Care Organizations.

“Brant’s experience with Critical Access Hospitals and feasibility analysis makes for an excellent fit with our facility,” reports Kevin Brown, CEO.  “He not only has the necessary accounting and financial performance experience, he has shown a commitment to improvement that will assist our hospital as we move forward.”

Online, Truman wrote, “Would like to thank all those who work at Ferry County Health. What a tremendous group of people and a great place to work.  Looking forward to working with the team at La Paz Regional.  I am passionate about Healthcare and the change that it brings on a constant basis. I look forward to a career in solving healthcare's big problems.”
