The view of Wednesday's brush fire from Second Avenue (Agency Road).

A brush fire was burning late Wednesday morning on the Colorado River Indian Reservation south of Parker. Thick black smoke could be seen for miles around.

The fire is in the area between Parker Indian Health Center and the Tribal offices near Manataba Park. It’s located between the Second Avenue (Agency Road) and the Colorado River.

This is a developing story and more information will be provided as it become available.
