Four employees of the Town of Parker were recognized for their long-time service to the Town at the Sept. 3 Town Council meeting. The employees three Parker Police Officers:  William Lucas (10 years), Brian McAfee (10 years) and Joseph Venegas (5 years). Senior Center employee Lydia Lara was also recognized for five years of service.

Senior Center Director Darla Tilley said Lara was a valuable employee at the Center.

“She’s my right hand, and my left,” Tilley said.

Parker Mayor Dan Beaver thanked the employees for their service to the Town. He said Parker is a great place to live, and added the Town’s dedicated employees are one of the reasons for that.
