Parker High teacher Doug Meale served as master of ceremonies for the picnic.
Parker High School celebrated their students’ accomplishments in the 2022-23 school year with the annual Awards Picnic held May 11 at La Paz County Park. In particular, many seniors were recognized for the scholarships they received.
Teacher Doug Meale served as Master of Ceremonies for the event. He thanked Karen Bonds and the kitchen staff, the school staff, the Student Council, and the National Honor Society for organizing and preparing the event.
Meale also thanked the students’ parents and guardians, as well as Superintendent Brad Sale and Assistant Superintendent Paul Olson.
“I also want to thank all our students who have worked so hard this year,” Meale said.
Cooper George and Christina Blanker were named the Outstanding Seniors for the school year. Gage Honomichl and Raelee Merritt were named the Outstanding Senior Athletes.
