The Labor Day weekend will be a hot one in Parker. High temperatures are expected to be 113 degrees on Friday and 114 degrees on Saturday. They’ll be somewhat lower on Sunday and Monday, with highs of 109 and 106 respectively.

There’s an excessive heat warning in effect on Friday and Saturday.

Be sure to stay hydrated, limit your outdoor activities to the early morning hours, and stay in air-conditioning if at all possible. Don’t forget your pets. If they’re outside, make sure they have plenty of water, as well as cool places in the shade.

High temperatures will remain well over 100 degrees for the rest of the week. Lows will be in the 80s.
