DPS Spokesman Bart Graves said the accident occurred at 9 a.m. near Milepost 72. An SUV with four people inside was cut off in traffic by another vehicle. The driver of the SUV hit his brakes and lost control of the vehicle. It rolled over and blocked both lanes of I-10 for a time.

Two people in the back seat of the SUV suffered non life-threatening injuries and were taken to Abrazo West Hospital in Goodyear.

Graves said a Chevrolet pick-up appears to have been the “run” vehicle.
