Five Town of Parker employees were honored for long-time service at the July 7 Town Council meeting. Two of them were in attendance to receive certificates of appreciation from Mayor Dan Beaver. John Maye was recognized for 15 years of service in the public works department, while Senior Center Director Darla Tilley was recognized for 20 years with the Town.

Other employees who were mentioned included Police Officer Kevin Lucas (5 years), Library Manager Tracy McConnell (5 years) and public works employee Silvino Chavira (15 years).

Beaver remarked that one of the things that makes Parker a great place to live is the quality of people who work for the Town. He said the Town has some excellent employees.
