UPDATE: ADOT has postponed this work for approximately two weeks. They said they'll send out a notice when the work has been rescheduled.
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions on US 95 near Quartzsite beginning Jan. 20.
Maintenance crews are scheduled to do crack seal application work south of Quartzsite. The work is part of multiple pavement preservation projects on highways across the state.
The following restrictions will occur from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning Monday, Jan. 20, and ending Friday, Jan. 24.
- Alternating lane closures will occur on northbound and southbound US 95 between La Posa West Long Term Visitor Area (near milepost 95) and Kuehn Street (milepost 104).
- Flaggers and a pilot car will direct motorists through the work zone.
- A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
